The original german pilot watch of WW2 era - of which Laco is one of the historic official suppliers - had always featured huge diameters as they were worn outside the uniform to facilitate clear readings of time. Over the years, as the iconic designs proved resilient even for modern styles, the diameters have settled around the standard 41-42mm, more or less . in 2020, Laco started producing the 39mm versions of these historic aviation design, just like this Ausburg Taupe 39mm model. The reduced size allow the timepiece to blend in, rather than standing out, with the overall outfit for a thoroughly harmonious look, giving this tool watch a truly sporty elegance nuance. And if you dig the sartorial taupe dial, we recommend that you preview one asap - this is a limited edition model of only 500 pieces, and for that reason will be sold out soon .
