Made for missions under extreme conditions: the Seven Seas is a squad watch for diving and water operations with an automatic movement, water-resistant to 100 ATM and developed in close cooperation with the German armed forces (Bundeswehr).
A helium valve releases helium that can build up inside the case during long stays in pressurized environments – so the crystal is not stressed during decompression. Anti-magnetic protection shields the movement from interference, and the screw-down crown sits on the left between 9 and 10 o'clock, protected by a crown guard.
The matte, black PVD-coated case with rotating bezel reflects hardly any light. The dial features raised luminous indices and Arabic numerals; the hour and minute hands carry two different Superluminova luminous materials so they can be told apart instantly, even in the dark.
The natural rubber strap is firmly attached to the case with screwed spring bars, and inside runs the Laco 200 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW 200. At almost 46 mm and 175 g, the Seven Seas is deliberately substantial – it takes Laco's functional watches consistently into the depths.
