The Aachen Grau 42 MB is the most uncompromising expression of the gray series: matte gray dial, satin-finished steel, solid stainless steel bracelet. The result is a fully monochrome pilot watch with a metal bracelet and automatic movement – clean in appearance and made for everyday business life.
Only the heat-blued hands break up the single-color look, with a metallic blue sheen. Their luminous material appears white during the day and glows bright blue-green at night, just like the numerals and markers.
The dial follows the type B layout, with a minute track at the edge and an inner hour ring – the signature of the historical observation watch. But where the ORIGINAL series recreates its model with a sandblasted case and straight lugs, the BASIC collection joins case and bracelet via curved end links into one flowing unit. On the wrist, you feel the weight of the steel as a pleasing sense of substance.
The watch is delivered in a gray zip case. On request, you can have it with the Laco 31 caliber and a 60-hour power reserve.
