Blue dial, solid steel: the Aachen Blaue Stunde 39 MB combines the sunburst finish of the Blaue Stunde series with a stainless steel bracelet. That makes it a compact blue pilot watch with a metal bracelet and automatic movement – cooler and more cohesive than the version on the nylon strap.
The blue recalls the sky just after sunset and shifts with the light between a deep night tone and a bright shimmer. On it sits the type B layout with a large minute track and inner hour circle; matte black hands provide contrast and glow in the dark.
The satin-finished case and the bracelet with curved end links flow smoothly into each other. This soft, modern line is what sets the BASIC collection apart from the ORIGINAL series, with its straight lugs and the matte sandblasted steel of the historical models.
