By displaying two time zones, GMT watches fulfil the needs of a sophisticated society in an era of global communication. The "Frankfurt GMT" allows a second time zone to be displayed by the 24-hour hand and the rotating bezel on the inside. The bezel can be adjusted using the second crown. The striking stainless steel case with an instrument look has a dark, sandblasted finish, inspired by the original Laco pilot watches, and is equipped with additional magnetic field protection. The caliber Laco 330, a mechanical movement with automatic winding mechanism is a guarantee for precision. It is based on the tried and trusted Swiss made caliber Sellita 330-2, ticking behind a solid steel case back decorated with an aircraft relief. The Frankfurt GMT has a black leather strap and is supplied in a modern aluminium gift box with a "Remove before flight" keyring. The box also includes a two-tone nylon band and a strap changing tool.
In 2020, the Laco "Frankfurt GMT" was awarded the Red Dot Award for Product Design. The watch model convinced the jury with its classic yet modern appearance. The characteristic design of the pilot's watches, for which the Laco brand stands like no other, was perfectly transported from past into present.
