The type A is characterized by a simple design with hour numerals. The dial with a large hour circle features the numerals 1 to 11. For better readability, the Baumuster A has a triangle with two dots at this point instead of the Arabic "12". Pilots used to be able to recognize this marking at first glance, even under stressful conditions.
Pilot's watches with the B model made the work of navigators easier in the past. Characteristic of the pilot watch type B are the large minute numerals in increments of 5 on the rim. The classic hour division from 1 to 12 can be seen in Arabic numerals and in an additional inner ring.

This watch does not have a visible date window. Therefore, Laco disables the so-called "ghost position" of the crown (also known as phantom date) on these movements. This means that the watch has no unnecessary crown position, which is normally responsible for the date switching of the movement.

The sapphire crystal installed as standard has an anti-reflective coating on the inside. On request, we can also supply this model with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides. Both sides of the glass are then provided with an anti-reflective layer. Please note: Wear may cause scratches on the outer anti-reflective layer. This is normal wear and tear and is therefore excluded from the warranty.
The dial has neither a logo nor the "Made in Germany" lettering. Even the military pilot watches of the 1940s usually did not have a logo of the manufacturing company. Simply so that this additional "useless" element does not limit the readability and functionality of the watch.
