The Heidelberg Erbstück is the compact way to wear a watch with a story: a historically faithful, hand-aged pilot watch with a type A dial, automatic movement and a 39 mm diameter.
The aging makes it look as though the watch has accompanied several generations. The case shows signs of wear, the dial an antique look, and the blued hands are individually aged. At Laco, every part is worked individually by hand – the result is one of a kind.
The foundation is authentic too. The barrel-shaped case with straight lugs, the pressed-in case back and the crown correspond to the observation watches of the 1940s – and as the only one of the five historic manufacturers worldwide, Laco still builds its pilot watches like this to this day.
Despite the patina, the triangle with two dots at 12 o'clock and the large numerals remain clearly legible. The aged brown riveted vintage leather strap suits the watch's character. You can choose between three aging levels; if you have no particular preference, you will receive level 2. Level 3 additionally shows chipped luminous material on the hands.
