Pilot Watch ORIGINAL Wien Erbstück

The Wien Erbstück is the navigator's watch with a glowing dial and a well-worn look: a historically faithful, hand-aged pilot watch with a type B dial, a luminous dial and an automatic movement.

On the fully luminous, individually aged dial, the minute track and hour ring are printed in black. By day the surface looks like a piece from an old collection; by night it lights up. The heat-blued hands are additionally coated with luminous material.

Laco also ages the case and strap by hand, each part individually. The construction underneath follows the observation watches of the 1940s: barrel-shaped case, straight lugs and closed press-fit case back. As the only one worldwide of the five historic manufacturers, Laco still builds its pilot watches this way today.

The automatic movement keeps the watch running while you wear it, and the brown riveted vintage leather strap suits the time-worn look. As with every Erbstück, the aging is done individually, so no two watches are alike. The result is a unique piece that lives up to its name – Erbstück means “heirloom”.

The used vintage leather makes every watch strap unique. Being a product of nature, it can present itself with color and structure variations.
