The Leipzig Erbstück is the navigators' observation watch as it might look after decades of service: a historically faithful, hand-aged pilot watch with a type B dial and hand-wound movement in the classic 42 mm size.
Laco ages each piece individually. The case receives scratches and nicks, the matte black dial an antique look, the blued hands an individual patina. No machine dictates the traces, which is why every watch is one of a kind.
Hand-wound movement, type B dial and a construction modeled on the 1940s, with barrel-shaped case, straight lugs, pressed-in case back and large crown – today, an observation watch can hardly get any closer to its historical model. Laco is the only one of the five historic manufacturers worldwide that still builds it in this original construction.
The brown riveted vintage leather strap is aged as well and becomes more personal every time you wear it. Three aging levels are available; if you don't specify one, you will receive level 2.
