Compact and full of color: the Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39 combines the type A dial with a blue sunburst dial. At 39 mm, it is a small automatic pilot watch that shows to particular advantage on slim wrists.
The blue changes with every shift of the light – sometimes dark and calm, sometimes bright and lively. The triangle with two dots at 12 o’clock and the Arabic numerals make the time readable at a glance; matte black hands set the contrast and glow at night, just like the numerals.
The ORIGINAL series recreates the historical pilot watches as faithfully as possible. The BASIC collection, by contrast, gives them new colors and a lighter format. Satin-finished steel, curved lugs and the gray nylon strap make the Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39 one of the lightest automatic watches in the series; through the sapphire crystal case back you can see the movement – on request, the Laco 31 caliber.
